Abstract:

In order to investigate the effects of drought stress on the growth and physiological indexes of winter rye (Secale cereale L.), the hydroponic Russian winter rye BK01 was simulated by using 15% PEG 6000 (PEG-6000). The physiological indexes of leaves under different stress conditions were determined at 0 (CK), 3, 6, 9, 12 and 24 h, respectively. The results showed that the contents of proline and malondialdehyde in winter rye leaves increased with the prolonging of stress time. The activities of catalase, peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, soluble protein and soluble sugar increased first and then decreased. The relative water content showed a decreasing trend. This study will provide a new theoretical basis for the research progress of drought resistance of winter rye.
