Abstract:

Through the investigation and sampling of cultivated land and garden soil in Zhejiang Province, and the determination of soil physical and chemical properties, the results showed that the saline alkali soil with pH value greater than 8.0 accounted for about 4.7% of cultivated land and garden soil in Zhejiang Province, which was mainly distributed in the coastal areas of Hangzhou Bay, the eastern coastal areas and the lower part of the plains, middle steps or hills in Zhoushan Archipelago. The unit weight of saline alkali soil was higher, with an average of 1.30 g·cm-3, which was 13% higher than the average level of soil in the province; the average soil salt content was 0.86 g·kg-1, which was 23% higher than that of the whole province; The contents of soil organic matter and total nitrogen were 15.74 g·kg-1 and 1.07 g·kg-1, respectively, which were 48% and 42% lower than those of the whole province; The contents of rapidly available potassium and slowly available potassium in saline alkali soil were 227.5 g·kg-1 and 685.44 g·kg-1, respectively, which were 62% and 90% higher than those in the whole province. The purpose of improvement and utilization can be achieved through engineering measures, agronomic measures or chemical measures. This study can provide reference for the improvement of saline alkali soil.
