Abstract:

This article explored the application effect of a new type of organic water-soluble fertilizer on facility cucumbers, aiming to lay the foundation for improving the quality and efficiency of facility cucumber production. In 2024,a field experiment was carried out in the cucumber planting area in Shengzhuang Town,Taishan District,Tai’an City to determine the yield, quality and other indicators of cucumber. The results showed that drip irrigation with earthworm extract and organic water-soluble fertilizer during the peak fruiting period had a significant effect on improving the yield and quality of cucumber. Compared with CK,the average single fruit weight and yield were highly significantly(p<0.01)increased by 39.94% and 38.80%,respectively. In terms of fruit quality, the soluble solids content highly significantly increased by 0.59 percentage points, the total soluble sugar content highly significantly increased by 1.50 percentage points, the organic acid content highly significantly decreased by 0.310 percentage points, the vitamin C content highly significantly increased by 34.13%,and the nitrate content highly significantly decreased by 5.05%. The results indicate that the new organic water-soluble fertilizer treatment can improve the yield and quality of facility cucumbers. Relevant analysis showed that the relative chlorophyll content (SPAD value) of leaves had a highly significant correlation with the yield and quality of cucumber.
