Abstract:

Yangguang 1 citrus is a new hybrid variety developed from a cross between the maternal parent Hongmeiren and the paternal parent Chunxiang. It features excellent traits such as easy peeling, tender flesh, and rich flavor. Although Yangguang 1 exhibits good storability, there is currently no reported research on the changes in its fruit quality during storage. This study used Yangguang 1 citrus fruit stored under room temperature(10-15 ℃)and low temperature(4-6 ℃)conditions as materials, periodically measuring fruit quality indicators, storage periods were 120 d. The results showed that during storage, the single fruit weight, transverse diameter, and titratable acid content continuously decreased. Fruit peel weight, fruit shape index, juice yield, soluble solids content, and vitamin C content initially increased and then decreased. The sugar-acid ratio and color index continuously increased. The edible rate first decreased and then stabilized. During the storage for 0-90 d,most indicators showed no significant difference between the two temperature conditions. Correlation analysis revealed that fruit size indicators(single fruit weight, longitudinal diameter, transverse diameter)were highly significantly(p<0.01)positively correlated with titratable acid content. Sugar-acid ratio and color difference index were significantly(p<0.05)or highly significantly negatively correlated with single fruit weight, transverse diameter, longitudinal diameter and titratable acid content. Comprehensive evaluation indicated that fruit flavor was best at 0 day and 30 days of room temperature storage, while the overall fruit quality was optimal at 60 days of low-temperature storage. These findings provide a theoretical basis for the promotion and application of Yangguang1 and the determination of its shelf-life.
