Abstract:

To clarify the matching status between pesticide registration and residue limit standards for Xiangshan Hongmeiren citrus cultivation, this study systematically reviewed the 3 869 registered pesticide products in citrus cultivation in China, and compared them with the 214 pesticide residue limits specified in GB 2763-2026 National Food Safety Standard-Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Food which are relevant to Hongmeiren citrus. The results showed that among the registered pesticides, insecticides accounted for the highest proportion(43.3%),followed by fungicides(17.8%)and acaricides(17.1%),and these products were formulated from 208 active pesticide ingredients through different methods. A total of 114 pesticides overlapped between the registered products and the residue limit list, while 100 pesticides in the residue limit standard had not been registered, and 87 registered pesticides were not covered by the residue limit standard. Based on these findings,it is recommended that growers pay close attention to pesticide labeling, residue limit requirements, and group standards such as the Guidelines for Safe and Scientific Use of Pesticides in Citrus issued by the China Crop Protection Industry Association, which serve as a reference for pest and disease control throughout the entire citrus industry chain. This study aims to provide a reference for the rational selection and scientific use of pesticides in Hongmeiren cultivation.
