Abstract:

In recent years, with the rapid development of the tomato industry in Wenzhou tomato virus diseases have become a significant constraint on the industry growth. From 2018 to 2023, samples suspected of tomato virus diseases were collected from Cangnan County and Longgang City. Molecular biological tests using specific primers were conducted to analyze the species of tomato virus diseases. The results showed that from 2018 to 2023, tomato virus diseases were widespread in Cangnan County and Longgang City, with average detection rates exceeding 40%. A total of six viruses were identified, with cucumber mosaic virus being the most frequently detected. The findings provide a reference for the prevention and control of tomato virus diseases in Wenzhou.
