Abstract:

Chunchengyou 887 is a new three-line indica-japonica hybrid rice variety. It was registered in Zhejiang Province in 2023 and nationally approved in 2025,suitable for planting as single-cropping rice or double-cropping late rice in southern Zhejiang and similar ecological regions. To clarify the key high-yield cultivation techniques for this variety,a field experiment was conducted in Yongjia,Zhejiang in 2025 with double-cropping late rice as the test material. Four nitrogen application rates and four transplanting densities were set as single-factor treatments to investigate their effects on agronomic traits, yield components and grain yield. The results showed that the grain yield of Chunchengyou 887 first increased and then decreased with increasing nitrogen application rate, reaching the highest value of 10.69 t·hm-2 at a pure nitrogen rate of 255 kg·hm-2. The optimal transplanting density was 238 500 hills per hectare, with a yield of 10.41 t·hm-2. The number of effective panicles was the core factor affecting yield, showing highly significantly (p<0.01)positive correlations with both nitrogen application rate and transplanting density. In summary, the optimal comprehensive cultivation scheme for high-yield production of Chunchengyou 887 in southern Zhejiang consists of a pure nitrogen application rate of 255 kg·hm-2,a transplanting density of 238 500 hills per hectare, combined with a mass ratio of N,P2O5,K2O at 1∶0.6∶0.8,and nitrogen fertilizer management with an application rate of basal fertilizer, tillering fertilizer and panicle fertilizer at 65∶20∶15,which can achieve high and stable yield.
