Abstract:

To investigate the effects of different agronomic traits on yield and to preliminarily screen excellent continuous cropping indica-japonica hybrid late rice varieties suitable for planting, the grey relational analysis was applied to analyze the relationships within 8 yield-related traits and yield,as well as the comprehensive traits of 16 tested varieties. The results showed that the relational degrees between yield-related traits and yield in descending order were:growth duration, seed setting rate,1 000-grain weight, plant height, total grains per panicle, filled grains per panicle, effective panicles, and panicle length. In the comprehensive trait evaluation, the variety with the highest relational degree to the optimal combination was Yongyou 36,followed by Yongyou 1540 and Yongyou 4911. Therefore,in high-yield cultivation of continuous cropping indica-japonica hybrid late rice, emphasis should be placed on regulating growth duration, seed setting rate, and 1 000-grain weight. Compared with the control variety Yongyou 1540,2 high-quality and high-yield varieties,Yongyou 36 and Yongyou 4911,were preliminarily screened.
