Abstract:

In order to evaluate the effect of meal residue organic fertilizer in vegetable production, cabbage was used as the test material, and no fertilization(CK),conventional chemical fertilization (CF),chemical fertilizer reduction+different amounts of commercial organic fertilizer or meal residue organic fertilizer were set up to analyze the effects of different amounts of commercial organic fertilizer or meal residue organic fertilizer on the growth of cabbage, soil physical and chemical properties, and nutrients content. The results showed that T6 treatment (chemical fertilizer reduction+15 t·hm-2 meal residue organic fertilizer) had the highest yield of cabbage, reaching 128.40 t·hm-2,which was significantly(p<0.05)increased by 652.20% compared with CK. There was no significant difference in the effect of meal residue organic fertilizer and commercial organic fertilizer on increasing the yield of cabbage. The pH value of the soil in the experimental area was alkaline, and compared with CK,the decrease in each fertilization treatment ranged from 3.72% to 7.69%. The soil electrical conductivity of T6 treatment was the highest, significantly increasing by 146.89% compared with CK. With the increase of amounts of meal residue organic fertilizer, soil electrical conductivity showed an upward trend. The T3 treatment (chemical fertilizer reduction+15 t·hm-2 commercial organic fertilizer) had the highest contents of soil organic matter, available phosphorus, and available potassium, which significantly increased by 41.64%,83.88%,and 75.80% compared with CK. The alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen content of T6 treatment was the highest, significantly increasing by 15.51% compared with CK. The yield of cabbage was highly significantly(p<0.01)positively correlated with plant height, ball diameter, and soil available phosphorus and available potassium content, highly significantly negatively correlated with soil pH value, and significantly positively correlated with soil electrical conductivity. Based on comprehensive analysis, chemical fertilizer reduction+15 t·hm-2 meal residue organic fertilizer was most suitable for the growth and development of cabbage. Its fertility is good, providing a more suitable growth environment for cabbage and allowing for better resource utilization of meal residues.
