Abstract:

In order to enhance the irrigation capacity of farmland in Taishun County, this study took the farmland irrigation system of Taishun County as the object. Based on the data of the region from 2007 to 2022,nine indicators(total agricultural output value, grain production, rural disposable income, rural Engel's coefficient, total output value of the primary industry, total power of agricultural machinery, effective irrigated area, fertilizer application amount, crop sown area)were selected, and the principal component analysis method was used to extract the principal components and construct the comprehensive evaluation model,to analyze factors influencing farmland irrigation in Taishun County. The results showed that the cumulative variance contribution rate of the first three principal components was 95.448%,which was summarized as irrigation infrastructure factor, planting structure factor and agricultural input factor. The analysis revealed that the comprehensive score for farmland irrigation in Taishun County showed an overall upward trend, and increased significantly after 2014,but fluctuated greatly in some years, reflecting the vulnerability of the water supply system to external shocks. Based on the analysis results, some suggestions were put forward, such as promoting the construction of water-saving irrigation and resilient water supply system, optimizing the planting structure of "yield based on water",strengthening water source protection and green investment,so as to provide direction for improving the farmland irrigation capacity of Taishun County.

Key words: Taishun County, principal component analysis, effective irrigation area, farmland irrigation, water-saving irrigation
