Abstract:

Agricultural advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters represent a higher evolutionary stage in agricultural industrial development，playing a positive role in advancing modern agriculture，enhancing agricultural competitiveness，promoting rural revitalization，and achieving common prosperity. Building upon relevant theories of industrial clustering，this paper constructed a logical analytical framework for understanding the formation of cluster effects within agricultural advantageous and distinctive industrial clusters. Using two major clusters in Zhejiang Province， Pan’an traditional Chinese medicinal herbs and Linhai tangerine，as case studies，the paper conducted a comparative analysis across dimensions such as location and resource endowments，value chain positioning，industrial organization and cluster governance structures，and the degree of industrial chain synergy. Based on these findings，the paper proposes several measures，including improving the entire industrial chain，fostering new industries and business models，optimizing operational mechanisms，and strengthening talent and technological support to comprehensively promote the high-quality development of agricultural advantageous and characteristic industrial clusters.
