Abstract:

To optimize top-dressing techniques for cultivated Nyssa sinensis Oliv.,this study systematically investigated the effects of fertilizer type, fertilization rate per plant, and fertilization time,on the growth and photosynthetic characteristics of three-year-old Nyssa sinensis Oliv. The results showed that in terms of growth indicators, treatment 9(70 g urea per plant+fertilization in early June)performed the best, with average monthly growth rates of 12.12 cm in plant height,2.74 mm in ground diameter, and 22.60 cm in crown width,significantly(p0.05)higher than those of the organic fertilizer treatments. In terms of photosynthetic characteristics, the optimal combination for chlorophyll content was treatment 5(70 g compound fertilizer per plant+fertilization in early May),the optimal combination for net photosynthetic rate was treatment 4(60 g compound fertilizer per plant+fertilization in early April),and the optimal combination for transpiration rate was treatment 2(200 g organic fertilizer per plant+fertilization in early May). The optimal fertilization combination for the rapid growth period of three-year-old Nyssa sinensis Oliv. is 60-70 g of compound fertilizer per plant or 70 g of urea per plant plus fertilization in early June.
