Abstract:

The mud produced by the dredging of rural rivers has high organic matter content, and the stacking or landfill treatment not only affects the environment but also causes waste of resources. If it can be used as a culture substrate, waste can be turned into treasure. In this study, Nanjing 9108 was used as the test rice variety, and the rice seedling substrate was made from rural river mud and plant ash residue, and the effects of different ratios of seedling substrate on seedling quality were explored. Compared with the control and other treatments, 60% river mud +40% ash had the best seedling raising effect, and the seedling quality was higher than that of the other substrate treatments and controls, which could be used as a rice seedling raising substrate, which provided a feasible way for high value-added agricultural use of dredging river mud and plant ash.
