Abstract:

To screen high-quality netted muskmelon germplasm resources,32 netted muskmelon germplasm resources from different sources were used as materials, and comprehensive evaluation was conducted on 9 agronomic traits by adopting basic statistical analysis, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of the 9 agronomic traits ranged from 5.72% to 24.50%,among which the coefficient of variation of plot yield was the largest. Correlation analysis indicated that 23 pairs of traits showed highly significant(p0.01)correlation. Principal component analysis simplified the 9 traits into 3 principal components, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 79.907%,which represented three factors of fruit yield and appearance, growth period and reticulation quality, and fruit intrinsic quality and fruit shape structure, respectively. Cluster analysis classified the 32 germplasm resources into 3 groups at the Euclidean distance of 20. The comprehensive scores ranged from -1.37 to 1.05,among which 19 germplasm resources had positive scores, performing better than the population average level. The top 3 excellent germplasm resources were M3,M20 and M9,which could be used as core parents for breeding.
