Abstract:

In order to clarify the quality characteristics of japonica rice varieties in different rice regions of Henan Province, and to cultivate and improve high-quality rice varieties. Based on the japonica rice varieties tested in Henan Province from 2012 to 2017, the differences in rice quality and taxonomic classification in different rice regions and years in Henan Province were studied. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of processing quality, appearance quality, cooking taste quality and other indexes of japonica rice varieties tested in Henan rice area in the past six years was analyzed, and the coefficient of variation of processing quality was 1.92% for brown rice rate, 13.04% for head rice rate, and 79.13% for chalkiness. The coefficient of variation of grain length-to-width ratio was the lowest in the southern Henan group and 4.13% in the Yanhuang group. Principal component analysis showed that 4 principal component factors were extracted from the southern Henan group and 5 principal component factors were extracted along the yellow group. The cluster analysis of quality indicators can divide the tested varieties (lines) into three groups, and the high-quality group varieties can be used for large-scale promotion and application in production.
