Abstract:

To explore the salt tolerance of local wild grape resources and screen suitable salt tolerant rootstock varieties for grape production areas along the southeast coast,10 local wild and progeny grape germplasm resources from Fu’an City were selected for salt tolerance experiments, with summer black grape as the control. Irrigation with 0.1 mol·L-1 NaCl solution was used to measure various indicators of salt damage index, new shoot growth, antioxidant enzyme activity, osmoregulatory substances, malondialdehyde content of seedlings under salt(NaCl)stress. Salt tolerance of wild grape resources was comprehensively analyzed by principal component analysis, membership function analysis. The results showed that the activities of catalase (CAT),peroxidase (POD),and superoxide dismutase (SOD) of S27 and S08 were relatively high in the control group and under NaCl stress. S27,S08, and S05 occupied the top three positions in the comprehensive ranking, indicating strong salt tolerance and suitability as salt tolerant grape rootstock resources in southeastern coastal areas such as Fu’an.
